Calculate your percentile

Choose the measurement you actually took. Do not compare an erect measurement with a flaccid reference group.

For length, measure along the top from the pubic bone to the tip of the glans. For girth, wrap a flexible tape around the mid-shaft without compressing the skin.

Your result will appear here

You will see an estimated percentile, comparison with the study mean and the limits of the calculation.

The centre band contains the middle 50% of the modeled reference distribution. Extreme bands contain fewer observations; they are not medical diagnoses.

Percentiles are modeled from pooled study data. They do not measure sexual function, satisfaction, fertility or health.

How to measure correctly

Measurement technique can change the result. Use the same method as the clinical reference data before interpreting a percentile.

Use the correct tool
Use a rigid ruler for length and a flexible, non-stretch tape for circumference.
Measure from the pubic bone
Place the ruler on the upper side and gently press through the fat pad to the pubic bone.
Record without rounding up
Measure to the tip of the glans, excluding foreskin. Repeat under similar conditions if needed.

Reference values used by this calculator

The calculation uses pooled means and standard deviations reported by Veale and colleagues. The review included measurements taken by health professionals rather than unverified self-reports.

What your percentile means

A percentile is a statistical position, not a quality score. The 60th percentile means the measurement is larger than an estimated 60% of measurements in the reference distribution and smaller than about 40%. It does not measure sexual function, fertility, masculinity, partner satisfaction or health.

Important limitation: the calculator assumes an approximately normal distribution based on pooled studies. Samples, countries, measurement methods and erect-data collection differed. An individual result is therefore an estimate—not a diagnosis.

Frequently asked questions

What is the average erect penis size?

The pooled review used here reported a mean erect length of 13.12 cm (5.17 inches) and mean erect circumference of 11.66 cm (4.59 inches). These are study averages, not targets.

Is this calculator medically diagnostic?

No. It is an educational statistical comparison. A clinician considers measurement technique, development, anatomy, symptoms and distress before making any diagnosis.

Why can my measurement change?

Temperature, arousal quality, anxiety, time and technique can affect a measurement—especially in the flaccid state. Use a consistent method and avoid repeatedly checking for tiny differences.

Does a higher percentile mean better sexual function?

No. Percentile does not measure erectile function, sensation, fertility, compatibility or satisfaction.

When should I speak with a healthcare professional?

Seek professional advice for pain, new curvature, injury, erectile difficulty, developmental concerns or persistent distress about body image. Do not use this result to justify unregulated enlargement products or procedures.
